What an amazing find on Manasota Key. We’ve been wanting to try this spot for a while and are so happy we finally got around to it. The menu is a variety of creative items that were absolutely delicious. We enjoyed the oysters, a nice side salad, a volcano roll, and the grouper. As I write this review I wish we would have taken photos as the presentation was like art. The location as well is relaxing where you just don’t feel rushed. Rather you can take your time and enjoy each course as it comes out. We even took a short walk down their outdoor lawn to the dock which was a nice way to stretch our legs during the meal. And to top it off, our waitress Emily was an absolute delight. Attentive just the right amount with the most wonderful personality. I always worry about writing a review when we find a 10 star restaurant as we don’t want them to get TOO popular though being selfish wouldn’t be right. Lol. So I highly encourage the locals, visitors, and snowbirds to check this place out. And if it’s a bit of a drive, trust me, make the drive. It’s so well worth it. And if you can time it with a sunset across the street, even better!

Had a graduation party here and everything was fantastic! Food, drinks, setup just everything turned out perfect!!

Magnolias is absolutely stunning! It’s a beautiful, welcoming space that’s perfect for both intimate dinners and lively get-togethers with friends. The food is outstanding — every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The service was stellar from start to finish, and I highly recommend asking for Elexis. She went above and beyond and made our experience truly exceptional! Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back.

There was some issues with our food this visit but our server and the management made it right. This is one of our favorite places to eat and will return again.

Our wedding on March 28 was incredible! Ashley listened and understood our expectations and along with her team make our day everything we could have imagined! We highly recommend Magnolias for any special event! Pure perfection!

We had the beautiful opportunity to eat here in 2023 and there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t reminisce about the filet and crème brulee. Currently planning my next meal when we are on vacation again.

Dogs and handlers from Doggie Disciples Christian therapy group had lunch and a photo shoot today at Magnolias. We all had a delicious meal and our dogs received the VIP treatment with homemade dog bones and cold water. Thank you Ashley for making this day a great memory!

My sister and I stopped here on a whim, and when I walked in I fell in love. Inside and outside seating area is awesome. We had a late breakfast, so we ordered drinks and a sushi roll. The expresso martini was on happy hour and was delicious. We ordered the crab ragoon roll. The roll was fresh and full of flavor. Our waiter Scott was so nice and attentive, we will ask for him again when we go back.(which will be very soon.) I will say, the sangria left me wanting more flavors. Next time I will try a margarita, I'm REALLY picky about them. It was a wonderful afternoon! Can't wait to go back!

Second time in a week I visited. Tonight with my children and they loved it. Manasota Key Roll is phenomenal. Ashlyn, our server, was amazing. She was attentive, kind, and always checking in on us with a smile on her face. The only thing I would request is to keep the Alabama Mud Pie as a norm on the menu. 🥰 Loved the entire night.

Sydney is an incredible waitress! We were a very large reservation and the entire staff were wonderful! Food and drinks were delicious! 10/10 recommended!!!

First time back since the reopening was such a great experience. Paul was awesome and on the spot with all aspects of dinner service. The manager Travis was very visible inquiring on guests and attentively engaging in the dining experiences. Will be back!

What a special little spot to have on the water. Everything was fabulous tonight. We had the baked oysters, grouper, and the duck for dinner, and ate at the bar. Beautiful atmosphere and delicious drinks. We can’t wait to come back.

Magnolia’s On The Bay! Opened again only a few months, Magnolia’s On The Bay is in a class above all else! Ladies of Charlotte County Girlfriends have been waiting for our Wednesday Lunch planned to come to enjoy and relish in the ambiance and elegance of this well establish Restaruant. Our reservations of 30 ladies was received with with warmth and every person on staff greeted us, guided each one to their beautiful pavilion were the setting was more than inviting! Chef Eric, Manager Shannon, came out to meet our ladies and thank us for choosing Magnolia’s. We observed their pride, not only in the management but also in everyone who working passing by us, including their wait staff Chris, Chad and Elixis. Of course, we started with a variation of cocktails and soft drinks. Our lunch was a menu of delicious delicate beet salads, flat breads with prosciutto and fig jam, Italian cured meats, or a Cuban sandwich, Chicken or Steak Caesar salads, and more of unique tantalizing flavors within each plate. Magnolia’s is prep and ready for any size event, whether it’s an intimate lunch, dinner or serving a larger party! Seating is ample indoors, in the pavilion or outside over looking the bay. There is valet parking or you can arrive by boat via their dock. We had such a grand time, warm welcomes, deliciously prepared food and drinks, and ultimate service of this classy Restaruant, Magnolia’s On The Bay, Englewood. It is a definite plan for us to return again, in the future! Pictures below!

Magnolias is one of my favorite places to eat, meet up with friends & celebrate my Birthday. The food & the service is hard to beat!! I couldn't wait till they reopened after several hurricane attempts to shut them down. I love this family owned business!!

Magnolias on the Bay has a nice atmosphere and a great location right on the water, which definitely adds to the overall experience. The food was good, but nothing particularly standout. Service was okay—friendly enough, but not especially attentive. Overall, it was an enjoyable visit mainly because of the waterfront setting, though the dining experience itself was fairly average.

Great food. Party of six and everyone got different dishes which they enjoyed. Make reservations it really fills up.

Food is phenomenal. Service is impeccable. Ambiance is unparalleled. If you're going to dinner, choose Mags. If you're getting married, choose Mags. If you're having a cocktail, choose Mags.

Mags goes beast mode, every time.

Magnolias is easily the best restaurant within 50 miles. The food, the service and the atmosphere could not be compared to any restaurant in town. It simply blows them away.

Magnolias was perfect for date night! Crab cakes were amazing, bone in pork chop was cooked to perfection and the sushi is the best in the area. Oh, and the view is 10/10. Cant wait to come back!

11 of us celebrated a milestone together, and we could not be any happier that we chose Magnolias. I was in touch with Ashley from the beginning, who was extremely responsive and had everything ready for us when we arrived. Shannon, who is also our friend, greeted us with such warmth. Chris, our server, knocked it out of the park! And the food…ahhhmazing! And the beautiful waterfront venue was just icing on the already decadent cake. Thank you to all for making the evening so special!

UPDATE!! 9/24/22 THE BEST SUSHI I HAVE EVER HAD! That kitchen staff is truly amazing. The best. You all put together some of the best quality food I have ever tasted. Thank you! We had one of the most enjoyable dining experiences ever! This place is top notch for sure. Service, food, ambiance…it has it ALL. Jen, the hostess/manager was an absolute gem! She immediately made us feel right at home upon entering the building. Super personality and very accommodating. We got a seat around one of their awesome fire pits. She lit our fire and handed us over to Martin, our awesome server. There were four of us and we decided to order a few things and split everything. We all started with drinks. 3 of us opted for the passion fruit hibiscus margarita. The other got the old fashioned. The margaritas were in the top 3 margaritas I’ve ever tasted. So amazing I had to “taste” 3 of them! They also came with an edible hibiscus flower as a garnish. It tasted like a fruit roll-up! For food we ordered a large pizza with capicola and banana peppers, a burrata beet salad, a roasted butternut and bacon salad with grilled chicken, a small quinoa salad, and a side of fries. The pizza was out of this world and I was SO THRILLED about the capicola as an option! Martin was a true pleasure and we really enjoyed our time with him! Thank you Martin! We loved you! Jen, you’re AMAZING! To the kitchen, THANK YOU FOR SOME OF THE BEST TASTING FOOD AROUND! Can’t wait to return!

We had our son's rehearsal dinner here. Ashley arranged everything, she was awesome to work with and the dinner was wonderful! The food was so delicious, the tables and atmosphere were wonderful. The staff did a great job and we had a wonderful time.

Best place around! We had a great family dinner here while in town. Terrific food, amazing atmosphere, and location. Highly recommend making a reservation, but if you dont they have a great bar to sit at in the back!
