From the hostess to the waitress and even the servers were magnificent and attentive to all our wants or needs. The food was magnificent and perfectly cooked.

This is by far the best "go-to spot" for a quality, all around dining experience on the Key in Englewood (a few hundred yards north of Englewood Beach.... heading toward Middle Beach). Atmosphere.... unmatched on Manasota Key Food Preparation.... Exceptional Service Quality.... 5 Stars Try out happy hour 2pm to 5pm, Tuesday thru Friday and noon to 5pm Saturday and Sunday (yes.... happy hour Saturday and Sunday)! If I were capable writing a stronger recommendation... I would.

We have been trying to make it to Magnolias on the bay for a while.. so glad we finally did! Rebecca and Marley were wonderful! We will definitely be back!!

Myself & 3 of my co workers had dinner there on Friday evening, we sat outside & MJ was our server. She was AMAZING & fun, all around 5 stars for her! The food was delicious along with our drinks. Highly recommend!!!

ASHLYNE IS THE BEST!!!!!!!! Best service! she is so so nice I will definitely request her every time! Such a sweet lady, made my night!!!!! 20/10 recommend!!!!

We went 3 nights in a row and had something different and nothing disappointed. Chad was our waiter the first night and we requested him the other 2. The staff is outstanding. The atmosphere is very quaint. If you're visiting Englewood, don't miss a chance to visit.

Outstanding! We shared sushi as an app. I believe the best in the area. My spouse loves shrimp and grits and was thrilled. Plenty of nice big shrimp and sausage. I had seafood Fra Diavolo which included mussel, shrimp and calamari over noddles. Spicy but not overdone. Well balanced. Very nice cocktails. Parking is tight and requires a valet. Highly recommended upscale dining in Englewood.

Great spot for lunch or dinner!! Lots of excellent things to choose from. Love the sushi especially the Milton Eye Roll. Lots of great drink options. The entrees were excellent. Our server, Chad did a great job!!

Amazing first time dining at Magnolias. New fall menu was delicious. Chef Robert created some delicious items for us and we all had an amazing experience. The salmon dish was phenomenal & the steak was delicious. Chad, our server was diligent and friendly. Would definitely recommend this place!

My mom and I went in on a quiet afternoon for lunch and we're greeted by a welcoming valet crew (complimentary:) and the hostess who sat us in the dining room. (The back bar was packed, happy hour.) Sydney was our ambitious and couteous waitress offering recommendations and a winning personality. We ordered the two for $60; mom had snapper and I ordered shrimp and grits, sans the sausage. I verified this dish would not be cooked with meat and I was assured it would not. After it arrived I verified, triple, quadruple checking (meat allergy) and the chef chimed in it was cooked with chicken stock. So, I was thankful I didn't consume it. They immediately rectified the issue and I ordered another dish with fish/ahi tuna, and it arrived promptly. From start to finish we had great service with a smile and delicious dishes. Noting their flourless chocolate cake is phenomenal! A must fine on the key! Thanks again for another lovely meal, Magnolia's. One small request and do away with one time use plastic straws and bags.♻️ Live, love local, dine small business, support community.✌🏼🩷🌅

We are outside in a covered patio area. It was very nice. There was a large family reunion at the time we were there, and we still got our food and drinks quickly. I am impressed at how they handled all of that. The osso bucco was one of the best I’ve had.

I went to Magnolias for Happy Hour at the bar and had such a great time. Rebecca was super sweet and attentive. She made me the best Mocktail Margarita. Not sure if I was affected by the view and the service but I’m pretty sure my Spicy Tune Roll was the best sushi I ever had. The view from the parking lot looks modest but is anything but that on the inside. The view over the water is spectacular. With drops in temps, the slider doors were opened and we were magically transported to outdoor bay front. Such a nice touch. I’ll certainly be going back.

Tonight was our first time dining at Magnolias on the Bay. We were celebrating our love. The vibe and ambiance was wonderful. Our server Ashlyne was extremely attentive and sweet. She worked extra hard to make sure our experience was perfect. From the drinks to the appetizers to the entrees, everything was all we could have hoped for. 10 out of 10, we absolutely recommend!❤️

Magnolias private event space is wonderful, beautiful and intimate. We had a buffet style of absolutely delicious food and the service staff was top notch! Addison was so helpful, explained the food beautifully and was there for anything we needed! We will definitely be back for dinner, drinks, and all future events. Thank you Magnolias for a memorable evening!

We had our 20-year high school reunion at Magnolias on the Bay last night and it was such a great experience! The space was perfect for a private event and gave us plenty of room to eat, drink, catch up, and enjoy the night without feeling crowded. The staff was wonderful and everything ran so smoothly. Drew took great care of us at the bar, and Addison was constantly helping throughout the night and making sure everything was taken care of. The drinks were great, the atmosphere was beautiful, and it was the perfect setting for getting everyone back together after 20 years. Definitely recommend Magnolias on the Bay if you’re looking for a beautiful spot for a private party or event. Thank you for helping make our reunion such a fun night! ❤️

We love coming here! Everything we order is consistently delicious, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere makes for such a relaxing evening. We especially enjoy arriving early for happy hour at the bar. Rebecca is our favorite bartender—she consistently makes incredible drinks! Her martinis are always amazing, and even her mocktails are fabulous, too. After happy hour, we love sitting by the water and watching the fish jump while we wait for our dinner reservation. Wonderful food, amazing drinks, and a beautiful setting—it’s an evening we always look forward to!

Dinner was excellent. We enjoyed the crab cakes and snapper the most. I didn't love my coconut lavender martini, it was too sweet for my taste, but that's ok. Our service from Dontressa was great and it was a very nice atmosphere. Definitely recommend for a nice dinner.

Went on a little trip with my husband and two kids (2 under 2). Initially, we were hesitant on coming to Magnolia’s because it’s more upscale and we didn’t know if they would be so accepting with the kids. From the moment we walked in we felt very welcomed. The hostess made us feel comfortable and immediately had high chairs brought out to us before we even sat down at our table. We chose to sit outside on the patio because of the kids. The back patio was beautiful; there was plenty of seating, the patio was open, and there’s a bar and an outdoor area where you can walk on the dock and check out the bay. Chris was our waiter; he was very attentive and knew the menu by the back of his hand. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer and for the entrees we ordered the Jasmine tea smoked duck and the Sea Bass and chicken tenders and fries for the kids. The duck was tender and the flavors were phenomenal (it was my first time eating duck and now I’m afraid Magnolia’s set the bar insanely high). My husband’s sea bass was very tender and delicious as well. Chris came by and checked on us multiple times and got us what we needed in an instant. Our kids were well behaved and enjoyed the food just as much as we did. After we were all done eating, we walked down the pathway to the dock and took in the scenery. Overall, the vibes were immaculate and the service was top notch. We’ll recommend this restaurant to everyone we know and we’ll plan another day to come back! Thank you, Magnolia’s on the Bay 🫶🏼

We sat at the bar and Becca and Elexis were are bartenders and they were both great. Very welcoming and attentive to serving my husband and I. We were there during Happy hour, so we had the best cocktails and appetizers. We can't wait to come back.

My family and I went out to dinner last night and had an absolutely incredible dining experience at Magnolias on the Bay! The food tasted amazing from start to finish—everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. What truly elevated the evening, though, was the stellar service. Our server was exceptionally attentive, consistently checking in at the perfect times without ever being intrusive. They went above and beyond to ensure our drinks were filled, our questions were answered, and every detail of our meal was flawless. This place checks every single box you could possibly want for a top-tier fine dining experience. We will absolutely be back

Yesterday, 9/29, we four women finally made it to Magnolias, arriving at 2:00pm for the "Happy Hour". We didn't need valet parking but the valet greeted us and held the door open for us. The hostess similarly cheerfully greeted us and showed us all around. We opted to sit at the bar. "E-lexa" was the cutest little nugget, imparting knowledge of the menu, the cocktails, and pointing out that the wine two of us had ordered was not part of the Happy Hour discount (we didn't care). When ordering she asked if there were any allergies the kitchen should be concerned about. She was just such a great addition to our fabulous afternoon. The Food!! Not only were all 4 of us in culinary heaven, the presentations of all dishes were truly works of art. We are already planning our return...
