Our daughters wedding at Magnolias on the Bay was absolutely perfect, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Ashley is an amazing wedding planner who made the entire planning process feel smooth and stress-free. Anytime things started to feel overwhelming, Ashley had a way of making us feel comfortable and confident that everything would come together—and it did beautifully.
The venue itself is stunning. Magnolias on the Bay was the perfect spot for their wedding, with a beautiful atmosphere that made the entire day feel special. The flowers were gorgeous, the food was delicious, and every detail was handled with care.
The bar was also beautiful, and the drinks were fantastic. Our guests kept talking about how great everything tasted and how much they enjoyed the entire experience.
What really made the day stand out was the incredible staff. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and truly seemed to care about making our day unforgettable.
A huge thank you to Ashley and the entire staff at Magnolias on the Bay for making our daughters wedding day so special. We are incredibly grateful for everything you did to make it such a wonderful celebration.

We dined at Magnolia's for the first time since they've reopened. We love all the new updates and the outdoor bar. Our server, Ashlyn is wonderful and made our dining experience so fun, she was extremely welcoming and attentive. We will be back very soon!

First time back after the hurricane damage. The service was impeccable as always. My Salmon was delicious. You can't beat the ambiance of this well planned seating. We haven't had their lunch menu yet so we have a reason to return soon.

I can’t say enough about this spectacular jewel of the Manasota Key. After back to back hurricanes, Magnolia’s is back better than ever! On a recent visit the other night we were greeted warmly by staff and led to our table with a beautiful glass fire pit. Drinks were delivered promptly and my Cosmo was perfectly served with the dirty ice on the side, just how I like it! The apps were superb very colorful presentation on the chef’s charcuterie board and the calamari was perfectly prepared. My Husband had the pork chops and he said they were moist, flavorful and delicious. I had the grouper and it did not disappoint. Such a fun and delicious evening in the most beautiful of venues with a chill vibe. Cannot wait to go back! Best of luck to the Atamanchuk family and kudos for all the hard work in bringing magnolia’s back to life!

What a great experience! I mentioned to Manager Mike that the Best steak I have ever had was some 30 years ago at Morton’s in Las Vegas! It was their $100 cut. I enjoyed Magnolias $56 cut more! Cooked and flavored to perfection!!! We have been long term customers of Magnolias and feel that our loyalty is very well served!

My husband and I went for the first time on Thursday. I was blown away at how beautiful the setting of the was. The view of the water was stunning. They were packed but we were able to get a small table outside, which was perfect. The lightning and the tables outside with the big beautiful fire pits created a very relaxing and romantic experience. We ordered the snapper for dinner with a bottle of the Malbec and the flourless chocolate cake. The food was delicious. The staff were attentive and friendly. This is my new favorite place. 10 out of 10.

The remodel is great. The outside bar area is a nice, and a great place while waiting for your table or socializing. The food including sushi is great and I have never had a bad choice of dinner. The water view out back is relaxing, and the valet takes the small congested parking lot out of the equation, so don't fear this. Sue, Rocket and staff have done a great job and always strive to make your experience fabulous. Want to go to a place where you feel at home and they know your name? Go to Magnolias a few times and have that pleasure!

Class has returned to our island paradise. A bar to die for. We docked our sailboat and celebrated Valentines in decadent style. Sea bass, chocolate cherry martini and herb oysters. So very fine.

We were so excited to see Magnolias on the Bay reopen — and it absolutely exceeded our expectations. We’ve already been back twice since reopening — once for dinner and once for lunch — and both experiences were fantastic. The atmosphere is everything you want from a waterfront spot. Relaxed, beautiful, and welcoming, with that perfect true Southern vibe. Think Charleston, SC: vibrant colors, plush fabric inside, and comfortable seating.

As you travel through the restaurant into the covered patio, you discover a gorgeous seating area with plenty of outdoor space for large parties, tables with a fire pit to keep you warm, and an unobstructed view of the bay.

Realizing the need for an outdoor bar area, Sue and Rocket created an absolutely stunning covered bar that is also suitable for dining.
Dinner was exceptional — fresh seafood and a perfectly prepared filet, both beautifully presented. The flavors were vibrant and thoughtfully balanced. You can tell there’s intention behind the menu. Lunch was equally impressive — lighter fare done right, and just as flavorful as dinner. Service both times was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. The staff seemed excited to be back, and it showed. There’s a renewed energy in the amazing venue, making it feel like a true local gem again. If you’ve been waiting for it to reopen, go. If you haven’t tried it yet, make a reservation. We’ll definitely be back (again).

Thrilled that Magnolias is open again!! We had an outstanding dinner. The food and service was fantastic, not to mention the renovations that have been done. We enjoyed a beverage in the new outdoor bar before dinner, loved it and you cannot beat the view!!! It is a must- will not disappoint!!!

Here from Indiana. We had a mishap with our reservation and they went above and beyond and made things right for us. The food was amazing, deserts phenomenal, special drinks in mermaid glasses, a beautiful atmosphere and even better employees highly recommend. Thank you so much for making us feel special!!

They take reservations 😀. Valet parking. Adorable and designed well. The restaurant is completely outside. (Covered). Our waitress was terrific and well versed in knowing everything about the menu and bar. She didn’t rush us through. The menu is pricey but the food was delicious. The raw tuna was the best I’ve ever eaten. We also ordered ceviche which was very good. My main dish was the grouper which was Catch of the day. It was perfectly prepared and presented. After dinner we walked down the patio and sat on the Adirondack chairs to enjoy the beautiful view of the bay.

Just drove by. They are open! So glad to see another great restaurant open!! Cars in the parking lot & the valet sign out front.

This is a place you want to go for a special occasion. The evening atmosphere is romantic. The food is great ( a little higher priced) but worth it.
Service was great. On the water, so nice to take a little walk after dinner.

Spent an incredible evening here with family. Food was delectable and the drinks perfect. Such a treat to eat outside enjoying the gorgeous view while being warmed by one of their glass fire pits. Can’t wait to return!

Had a delicious dinner with my honey last night. Atmosphere here is great, drinks well prepared and food was great, our server and all the extra help all night long was really showing their support for service. We will be back to try other dinner selections.

This is the best restaurant in the area, hands down! Excellent views and food to match. Very high end sushi, cocktails, and other dinner fare. My favorite local spot! I bring all of my guests here.

My boyfriend and I dined at Magnolias on the Bay this past Fourth of July while on vacation, and it was an unforgettable experience. We enjoyed a beautiful dinner on the patio with fireworks lighting up the sky. From the food to the service and atmosphere, everything was perfect. The dishes were delicious, and the service was exceptional. A special thanks to our server, Brandon, who was attentive, kind, and offered great recommendations. After dinner, we watched more fireworks and had a lovely conversation with Sam, the manager, who gave us some great local tips. Huge thanks to the entire staff for making our evening so memorable. We’ll definitely be back!

Great food great service. They mixed up our steaks and gave my less cooked one to someone else at the table. But it was still good even tho it was cooked a little more than I asked. We will be back for sure. Updating today to 4 stars for food because last night I had the worst meal I've had out in a long time. All the salt was in there bites. I only ate half my meal. The cabbage with the grouper was not good and the grouper had NO flavor other than a couple piles of coarse salt. Not sure I'll be back anytime soon. (I should have just got the steak)

Absolutely the finest food we have experienced. The portions were surprisingly very large especially for fine dining options. My seabass was hands down the largest piece ever served. Literally could of had leftovers but it was so good there wasn’t any. Sushi is very creative and flavorful. Great drinks. Service was great but be prepared as food does take longer than traditional restaurants to arrive. Arrived very fresh and obvious it is not prepared beforehand. Highly recommend!!!

Been here several times and food is always top notch. Special shout out to our server Joey G. He served us our past 2 visits and he deserves every customer service award there is. The guy is so personable and hilarious. Nit to mention very attentive. Can't recommend Magnolias enough.

First time visit for our party of 4. Greeted by a smiling hostess- phenomenal drinks and sushi rolls served by Heather at the bar. Then a 5+ star experience at our table with very attentive service by our fun and informative waiter- Joe. Two of us had the Ribeye Steak, one of us the Sea Bass and the other Grouper. All were served at the perfect temperature and seasoned perfectly. Joe never let our drinks get empty and always had a smile on his face. His dinner suggestions were spot-on delicious. The manager checked in with our table and thanked us for coming. As if this all wasn't enough- we had dessert!! Two orders of the Blondie w/ice cream, one chocolate flour-less cake and one key lime bar. One more delicious than the next.

I highly encourage you to visit Magnolias on the Bay- phenomenal food and top notch-friendly service. Thank you Heather and Joe for a wonderful experience.

Wonderful in every way except a bit warm.

We had the pleasure of having dinner at Magnolias on the Bay Sunday evening. We were absolutely thriller from the moment we were greeted by the Valet parking attendant in the parking lot. I might add that there is also a boat dock on the bay in the rear of the restaurant for the seafaring visitors to Magnolias on the Bay.

A pleasant greeting by the hostess before being seated. We decided to do the special dinner for the two as did our friends. We tried the " snake river roll sushi, the shishito pepper skewers and the Charcuterie board which was more than enough for the four of us to share. For the main entree, two of us had the pork chops and two had the salmon. The food was delicious with a beautiful presentation on each plate. Almost didn't want to ruin the picture but then again, we were there to eat. What a pleasure the meals were.

Temperature was perfect, seasoning was not over done and the speed of service from placing the orders to delivery was perfect timing. We were treated as valued customers by everyone. Heather, our server was very attentive while she also tended to the bar and we never had to wave her down for any request. Of course, what is a great night with wonderful friends unless you have a satisfying dessert. That is exactly what we had, a sampler of chocolate cheese cake, key lime pie, creme brulee and something like flan. We were not disappointed and will return to sample more of their diverse menu. Give yourself a treat and make a reservation at Magnolias. There is limited inside dining and covered outside dining with fire pits and a view of the bay. You will be pleased.
